Apologies from the start for what is going to be a very short diary entry but I couldn't pass this up and didn't see any diaries already out there linking to this topic.
Today, the NY Times has an interactive feature on the opinion page that is being touted as:
"A grid outlining the gifts and deficits of the 2008 presidential hopefuls."
It's an assessment of intellectual capacity, external appearance, effect, temperament and character. Here's the kicker...
The grid was populated by every progressive democrat's favorite opinionator...
drum roll
David Brooks with contributions by Ben Schott.
Come one and all.
I assure you there is something extremely entertaining and infuriating for all.
(I'm wondering which candidate will be the most insulted: Hillary at finding out her language is "wonkish" or Fred Thompson who came out analyzed as "Surprisingly dull" -- hmmm...Edwards appears to have done OK in all categories...)
Have fun and a Happy Friday and and a great weekend to all.
Oh, here's the link: "Tabular Estimate of the 2008 Presidental Hopefuls" otherwise known as "Candidates in a Box."
